FO: Quiltworx Leaf Runner

In October 2016, I took a quilting class at the Quilt Crossing. Sandy Lieske taught the class, and it was the first of the Leaf Series. This is a super cute large runner pattern, and it’s a great way to get introduced to the Quiltworx patterns.

Conveniently, Sandy gave me a kit for the class for my birthday 🙂 so all I had to do was show up and take the class.

I’ve done paper piecing before, but it did take me a while to get the hang of this technique. There may have been cursing involved.

I finally finished the runner this week. Yahoo!

“Squirrely Quiltworx Leaf Runner”
Completed July 17, 2017 in Meridian, ID.

I named it “Squirrely Quiltworx Leaf Runner” in part due to the super cute squirrel fabric, but also because I was at least a little squirrely at the end of the class that day.
